The App

BIKEAPPROACH is an intelligent safety system that constantly monitors the speed and distance of oncoming cyclists and notifying motorists via GPS to prevent and reduce the impact in car-and-bicycle collisions. In places with poor visibility of approaching cyclists, the BIKEAPPROACH system increases traffic safety by giving timely warnings of cyclists crossing the road.

How it works

Cyclists:

Download the BIKEAPPROACH application and turn their GPS ON to send a signal of their location to other road users.

Drivers:

Turn ON the BIKEAPPROACH applications and receive real-time notifications about the bicyclist traffic within 50 meters.

The App:

Measures the changing position of individual road users and continuously analyses this data. By considering the speed of an approaching object, the application warns the motorist appropriately.
